What to know
Crepe masking tape (130 µm, rated to 60 °C) is the everyday choice for masking, temporary labelling and light bundling. It tears by hand and is easy to write on.
Blue masking tape (150 µm, rated to 90 °C) is UV resistant for interior and exterior painting, windows and trim. Washi masking tape (100 µm, rated to 120 °C) is thin and conforms to curves, giving sharp edges for detailed paint lines and automotive refinishing.
